Detailed description

Countryways CIC is a local not-for-profit community enterprise which offers care farming interventions for young people and those vulnerable or facing life challenges.

 

We are looking for volunteer(s) to specifically be able to help with the morning and/or evening livestock routine. Feeding and watering animals which include goats, donkeys, chickens, guinea pigs and rabbits. Checking fencing, cleaning pens and grooming if time permits. Must have own transport or ability to get to the farm. Experience handling animals needed, and additional training will be given. 

 

Time required: 4 hours per week over 4 days however role could be shared. Could suit a BCA Animal management or Agri student or someone who has livestock experience.
