Summary

Volunteer Drivers deliver weekly emergency food parcels to clients living in South Buckinghamshire

Detailed description

One Can Trust delivers emergency food parcels to clients living in South Bucks, every day of the working week. We deliver to different areas on different days and try to match drivers with preferred delivery areas. Volunteer drivers typically use their own vehicles (we are happy to reimburse fuel costs) and typically volunteer for 1-2 hours every week.

Checks are made on all drivers before they can volunteer with us. Checks include DBS, vehicle insurance and MOT (if applicable) and DVLA checks are made also.

About One Can Trust Food Bank

We work with local organisations, including Bucks Council and housing associations, to provide weekly food parcels to those who need our help. We have seen a huge increase in requests for our support over the last few months due to the cost of living crisis. In addition to providing food for households who are struggling, we offer a wide range of programmes including access to Free School Meals, Community Cafe sessions, Toddler Groups, Cookery course and Clothes Bank.
