Would you like to gain experience working in a Front of House team in heritage? Would you like to put your existing experience working with visitors and families to good use?
We are looking for warm, friendly people who want to help provide a positive museum experience for all. You might have lots of experience working in a front of house team or with visitors or none at all: the most important thing is to have energy and enthusiasm!
Working alongside our Visitor Services Team you will help to support the running of our weekend operation. This will include: welcoming visitors, helping them to engage with our Roald Dahl Children’s Gallery and Art Gallery Exhibitions, answering any questions about the museum and ensuring each visitor has a special day with us. You will also help us in fire evacuations and ensure the safety of visitors in your area and the security of the building and collections.
You will receive full training and support in this role.
We are ideally looking for volunteers to commit to a Saturday Morning or Saturday Afternoon or Sunday Morning or Sunday Afternoon - either weekly, twice monthly or monthly.
