Summary

Assist with the running of our popular Roald Dahl workshop in our special Roald Dahl Children's Gallery by joining our small, friendly team.

Detailed description

Would you like to gain experience working with families and children in heritage? Would you like to put your existing experience working with children to good use?

We are looking for warm, friendly people who want to help provide a positive museum experience for children. You might have lots of experience working with families or none at all: the most important thing is to have energy and enthusiasm!

Working alongside our Education team you will help to support the running of our school workshops. This will include: welcoming school groups, helping them to engage with our Roald Dahl Children’s Gallery, assisting with the set up and close down of school craft activities and the preparing of workshop materials.

You will receive full training and support in this role.

You are welcome to help out on an ad-hoc basis or commit to regular shifts, depending on what works best for you.

If you would like to use your existing experience and skills to help new generations foster a love of museums, this is the role for you!
