Summary

There are several volunteering roles including: stewarding; selling snowdrops; preparing and serving refreshments; and running stalls.

Detailed description

Our Snowdrop walk will be held at West Wycombe Park, Buckinghamshire on Sunday 2 February 2025.

Shift times are: 10am-1.30pm or 1pm-4.30pm

The Snowdrop Walk is an annual event held at West Wycombe Park which helps to support the work of the charity. Visitors can enjoy a walk in beautiful surroundings and plant a snowdrop in memory of someone special.

Children can enjoy a treasure hunt, and hot food, cakes and refreshments are served in the village hall, where further children’s activities will be taking place.

We are looking for friendly, compassionate and personable volunteers who are happy to work a three and half hour shift either indoors or outdoors at the event. There are several volunteering roles including: stewarding; selling snowdrops; preparing and serving refreshments; and running stalls in West Wycombe Village Hall.

All volunteers will be sent a full briefing prior to the event and will be supported in their volunteering role by the fundraising team.

About Child Bereavement UK

Child Bereavement UK helps families to rebuild their lives when a child grieves or when a child dies. We support children and young people (up to the age of 25) when someone important to them has died or is not expected to live, and parents and the wider family when a baby or child of any age dies or is dying.

We offer free, confidential bereavement support for individuals, couples, children, young people, and families, by telephone, video or instant messenger, wherever you live in the UK. We also offer face-to-face support from a number of locations.
