Volunteer Driver for Bowls Club – Drive, Support, and Join the Fun!
Love driving and socialising? Use your skills to help blind and partially sighted people get to our local bowls club. You’ll transport members, enjoy great conversation, and if you’d like, stay and assist with the bowls too!

What will you be doing?
- Driving members to and from the bowls club.
- Option to stay and assist with the bowls sessions.
Skills and experience needed:
- Friendly, professional, reliable, and punctual.
- Able to work independently.
- Full driver’s license, valid MOT, and proof of insurance.

What support will be provided:
- Full induction and training, including sight loss awareness and sighted guiding.
- Ongoing training and development opportunities.

- Continuous support from your Volunteer Manager and local volunteers.
Requirements:
This role requires an Enhanced DBS check (working with adults), as you’ll be supporting vulnerable people one-on-one.
