Social and Activity Group Coordinator – Bring Fun, Connection, and Support to Our Community!

Are you friendly, outgoing, and love organising fun activities? This is your chance to make a real difference as a Social and Activity Group Coordinator! You’ll be planning events, coordinating volunteers, and creating a welcoming environment for blind and partially sighted individuals, helping to reduce social isolation and promote connection.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Organise and plan a variety of entertainment and activities. (with support)
  • Set up and pack away the venue. (with support)
  • Keep track of attendees and encourage engagement.
  • Support and coordinate volunteers to ensure everything runs smoothly.
  • Collaborate with the divisional volunteer committee to create a great experience for everyone.

When and where?

Second Tuesday of each month, Padbury

  • Strong organisational and planning abilities.
  • Problem solver with a positive attitude.
  • Friendly, approachable, and understanding.
  • Team player who loves working with people.
  • Reliable and respectful, with a great sense of fun!

Criminal Record Check Information:

This role may require a DBS check if you are also volunteering as a driver, as you’ll be working with vulnerable people (Enhanced check for working with adults).
