Club Steward Volunteer

What you will be doing?

·       Collaborating with other club stewards to ensure coverage for each event.

·       Collecting keys, equipment, and any necessary supplies for club activities.

·       Arriving at the venue early to set up tables, chairs, equipment, heating, and refreshments.

·       Acting as a welcoming host, greeting members at the door, helping guide them to their tables, and assisting with introductions and welcome drinks.

·       Supporting club organisers and the catering team during sessions.

·       Assisting drivers with guiding members to and from cars at the start and end of each session.

·       Handing out items to members upon departure and ensuring safe exits.

·       Assisting members waiting for taxis or family transport and ensuring all members have safely left the venue.

·       Tidying up the venue, including putting away tables and chairs, clearing the kitchen, sweeping or vacuuming if needed, and securing the premises before leaving.

What skills and experience are needed?

·       Enjoy working as part of a team

·       Friendly and outgoing personality

·       Good Communication skills

·       Ability to lift light equipment (chairs, tables etc)

·       Be enthusiastic, flexible and committed
