Summary

Located in Aylesbury, High Wycombe and Chesham, volunteers support people in their recovery in a small group setting in local cafes, listening, signposting etc.

Detailed description

Volunteers will support attendees to engage positively within the group whilst being warm, empathetic and using listening skills to be accepting and non judgmental. They will facilitate the group and take part in board games and general chat ensuring a safe and friendly environment.

They will gain a sense of connection, community and it will improve their emotional wellbeing knowing they are making a difference to the people they support.
