Summary
Befrienders meet or call someone once a week for an hour over 6 months. The aim is to encourage, motivate, listen and leave someone feeling in a better place.Detailed description
Befriending is a rewarding role and needed by many people who are lonely, isolated and may benefit from a regular buddy to show them they are valued. Giving someone your time helps them to feel that there is hope and opportunities going forward.
