Detailed description

The Lunch Club provides delicious, home-cooked meals for 30 elderly members every Thursday at the Curzon Centre, Maxwell Road, Beaconsfield. We are a friendly team who take pride in making a difference in our community!


Volunteer Role: Reserve Cook

We’re looking for a Reserve Cook to step in when needed (e.g., during holidays or absences). No professional training is required—just the ability to prepare a wholesome, homemade meal.


Key details:

🍽️ You’ll cook one course (either a main or a pudding).

⏰ Cooking takes place in the morning; lunch is served at 12:30 PM, and we usually finish by 1:45 PM.

💰 Cooks are fully reimbursed for ingredients.

About Beaconsfield Community Association Lunch Club

The Beaconsfield Community Association runs the Thursday Lunch Club at the Curzon Centre, Maxwell Road, Beaconsfield, every Thursday. We provide a three course lunch, cooked and served by volunteers, for local people who are over 60 or have a disability.
