We'll provide the cuppa and cake, if you can provide a bit of company for local older people!
Starting in March this fabulous new club is in Meadowcroft Community Centre. We will be welcoming local older people to have some fun, activities and company.
Become a Coffee, Cake and Company volunteer to put a smile on someone's face as they enjoy their monthly catchup.
What will I do?
This once a month role involves joining our friendly team as we run the club, organise activities and make sure everyone has a great time.
You could be:
- welcoming and chatting to people
- serving refreshments
- joining in fun activities
- helping us get organised
This is a new club, just about to start so a great time to get involved.
What you will get out of it
- It's a great way to make a real difference to someone's life
- You'll be giving something back to your community
- You get to meet and be part of our friendly volunteer team
- You get the satisfaction of seeing people enjoy themselves
What is expected of me?
- Come to the community centre to help on the first Wednesday of each month 10.30 - 12.30
- If you have ideas for activities and things we can do, feel free to share them
- Join in and have fun!
