Summary

Would you like to help older people rediscover the things they love doing or try new ones so they can get out and do the things that they want?

Detailed description

BOOST volunteers work with older people who want to reconnect with their communities and interests, but may have lost some confidence or need some help doing this. This could be for a few weeks or sometime months as you support them to try something out. It gives a real boost to their lives!

What do BOOST Volunteers do?

This is a varied volunteer role helping people in different ways, seeing them get out again and enabling them to do the things they enjoy.

It might be going with someone to a club, café or activity, it might be helping them with their transport or joining them on a trip.

Every assignment is different, it is normally once a week and is lots of fun!
